On August 26, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Khoa – Managing Partner of KALF Law Firm and Arbitrator at the APEC Vietnam Commercial Arbitration Center (APEC-VN) – participated in Panel Discussion 2 on the topic “Applying and Implementing the Audit Committee Model in Practice,” organized by VIOD.
During the panel discussion, experts focused on practical issues surrounding the operation of the Audit Committee (AC), covering the legal framework, oversight mechanisms, risk management, ESG, as well as the legal responsibilities of Audit Committee members and the Board of Directors.
Drawing on her practical experience in legal advisory and dispute resolution, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Khoa shared key issues that businesses should pay particular attention to when establishing and operating an Audit Committee, including requirements concerning its operating regulations, the allocation of authority, the responsibilities of relevant stakeholders, and mechanisms for managing legal risks.
These issues are also of significant importance to modern corporate governance, dispute prevention, and enhancing transparency and effectiveness in corporate operations.
